With independence, Hawaii could join Olympics
In the
Star-Bulletin
letters,
George Kahumoku Flores envisions the possibility that Hawaii could have
participated in the Olympics if it had not been illegally occupied, and says
that "Only through independence (freedom) can we achieve our Olympic moments,
relight the flames of our ancestors and make Hawaii pono."
The
Advertiser
also printed
his letter on Monday.
