Responses to 'enemy' letter
A couple letters
in the Star-Bulletin from folks riled up by Eric Poohina's earlier
letter that the U.S. is the enemy of
Hawaiians.
Personally, I understand Eric's point—the U.S. is illegally occupying Hawaii as a consequence of an admitted "act of war"—and it may be important for folks to realize that some people feel as he does, but perhaps calling the United States the enemy is not the best way to win support for his position.
