Nathan Brown pleads guilty
The Advertiser reports
that sovereignty activist Nathan Brown has "pleaded guilty in federal court to
intentionally failing to show up as promised to begin a prison sentence," which
was originally based on a protest action against the illegal imposition of U.S.
taxes on Hawaiian nationals, and the article also mentions the Kanahele
case, another politically motivated prosecution designed to disrupt
the independence movement and remove its leaders.
