Sovereignty
Friday, June 15, 2007
7:00A.M.
Gather at Wells Street Park, Wailuku, Maui
Three
Kanaka Maoli Hawaiian Nationals, Henry Noa, Nelson Armitage and Russell
Kahookele will stand trial in Maui District
Court at 8:00a.m. Friday, June 15, 2007 on charges by the State of
Hawaii of criminal trespass and violation of
closed waters on and around the island of Kaho’olawe.
The U.S. Government has continually
recognized in their own laws and legal documents the
Kingdom of Hawai’i as the legitimate
sovereignty of the Hawaiian Islands for over 114 years, and
whose political authority was suspended
illegally in 1893 in an act of war against a friendly treaty
partner Nation and in clear violation of
International Law. On March 13, 1999,
Kanaka Maoli reinstated the former inherent sovereignty of the Kingdom of
Hawai’i in accordance to international
law and Hawaiian Kingdom laws to answer the legal
obligation created by the Apology Bill -
United State’s Public Law 103-150.
