Three Kanaka Maoli Hawaiian National
citizens of the Reinstated Kingdom of Hawai’i government stand trial today
at 1:00 PM for criminal trespass on the Island of Kaho’olawe and violation
of restricted water surrounding the
island.
Henry Noa, Nelson Armitage and
Russell Kaho’okele will appear in Maui District Court almost a year after
a July 31st, 2006 landing on the island of Kaho’olawe at which
time they announced the reclaiming of national lands belonging to the Reinstated
Kingdom of Hawai’i government and its
citizens.
The defendants and their
supporters intend to meet at Wells Park at 11:00 AM Friday July 27th,
2007 in order to march together in unity with protest signs and flags to the
courthouse.
