Please join us as we honor our Queen Lili`uokalani on her birthday at a presentation of the re-enactment titled

Ka Lei Maile Ali`i -- The Queen's Women
Sept. 2, 2007
10:30 am and 1:30 pm
Kana`ina Building
`Iolani Palace Grounds
Honolulu, Hawai`i

The re-enactment will be preceded by a presentation by David Keanu Sai, who will provide a context for understanding why the signatures were being gathered by the Hui Aloha `Aina o na Wahine and the Hui Aloha `Aina o na Kane for the Ku`e Petitions of 1897, and what happened as a result.

This presentation is open and free to the public.
