Aunty Peggy Ha'o Ross
I heard that Aunty Peggy Ha'o Ross passed away this
weekend. I know many people in the kingdom movement were inspired and educated
by her, and I considered myself very fortunate on those occasions when I got to
hear her speak during the Nation of Hawaii kupuna meetings back in 94-95. She
really knew her history and was such a great firecracker of energy and wit, and
a powerful orator. I hadn't seen her in a while, but I will still miss her. Rest
in peace, Aunty.
