Police and Hawaiian activists exchange citations on Maui
Maui News reports
on a peaceful standoff of sorts between Maui police and members of the
Reinstated Hawaiian Government group at Waihee Beach Park where the group has
been camped since December. The police issued citations for trespassing, but the
group intends to issue citations of their own to the police. Also notes that
April 3 has been scheduled for the trial of Henry Noa (and two others) on
charges of trespassing on Kahoolawe.
