Commentary honoring Dole misstated the facts

in response to Ken Conklin's commentary on Sanford Dole's birthday. The only
concern I have with Isaac's piece is that he refers twice to Cleveland as "his
president" (Dole's president), but Dole was a Hawaiian subject, born in Hawaii,
not an American citizen. Even though he wanted the U.S. president to become his
president through annexation, at the time Cleveland was not "his president."
