Hawaiian groups to share visions with young
The Maui
News has an interesting article
about Ke Au Hou (The New Generation), "a statewide organization involving and
for the benefit of Native Hawaiian
youth," which will be holding an
Awareness
Summit, "E Holo Mua," on Feb. 16 at the
Maehara Stadium in the War Memorial Complex on Maui, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The
organizer Charles Villalon is quoted: "The understanding was that we would get
the different viable Native Hawaiian advocacy groups to participate to present
their views on the strategies for achieving independence."
