Letters: Kekuni Blasidell; Kamehameha Schools' role
A couple interesting letters
in the Star-Bulletin today, one praising independence activist Kekuni Blaisdell,
and the other saying Hawaii is sovereign and occupied and at the same time
calling for Kamehameha Schools to admit non-Hawaiians. It says: "As long as the
Akaka Bill, calling for federal recognition of Hawaiians, does not pass, Hawaii
is still considered by many countries to be a sovereign nation, seized and
occupied illegally." I'm not sure about that, but many countries are at least
somewhat aware of the situation here...
