Hawaiian psychology training serves rural communities
There's an interesting
article
in the
Advertiser
yesterday about the Native Hawaiian Psychology Training Program, "a 5-year-old
program that trains Native Hawaiian psychology students and provides counseling
at low-income clinics in rural areas with large numbers of Hawaiians" in order
to provide a more culturally oriented service and bridge significant gaps in
care.
