KS settlement in court today
The Advertiser reports
on the settlement agreement on the Kamehameha Schools admissions case to be
heard in court today, and notes that "The settlement, and financial support for
it by local business leaders, has been unpopular with some Hawaiian groups.
Kaho'onei Panoke, vice-president of 'Ilio'ulaokalani Coalition, said his group
was looking into how Native Hawaiians might strike back
financially."Napualokelani S. Wiley
has a letter
saying that she is disappointed by the settlement and that the boy's mother's
