"The Office of Hawaiian Affairs wants to build a $32 million oceanfront
headquarters in Kakaako that would also serve as a 'living' Hawaiian cultural
center." The Advertiser

mentions that it would be the headquarters for
a Native Hawaiian government.

The
Advertiser
editorial
says "move
cautiously."(Of course, the
headquarters for the independent Hawaiian government—not Native Hawaiian
government but Hawaiian national government—should be the current state
capitol.)
