LAND MANAGEMENT
SPECIALIST
The Office of Hawaiian
Affairs is seeking an additional staff member for our new and growing Land
Management Division. In 2006, OHA acquired title to Waimea Valley, O'ahu (1,875
acres) and Wao Kele O Puna (25,000 acres). In addition to these fee lands, OHA
owns, leases, or manages other cultural properties and other facilities.
Minimum requirements: Graduation from
an accredited college or university with major work in public or business
administration, law, business economics or a related field. 3 years of
progressively responsible work experience in property management involving the
efficient utilization and maintenance of real property which included such
activities as the acquisition or sale of real property, property evaluation,
preparation and solicitation of bids, and the protection and maintenance of
property. This experience shall have included business, commercial,
conservation or industrial real property
management.
The ideal candidate will
bring experience in both natural and cultural resource management and planning
as well as conventional real estate management and analysis. It is an
