Hawaiian Affairs and the Center for Excellence in Native Hawaiian Law will be
holding a free workshop series for non-profit organizations. The focus of
the workshop series will be the creation and maintenance of Native
Hawaiian/environmental/cultural organizations. This is a great workshop
for anyone considering creating a non-profit organization and/or individuals
already working for non-profit organizations who want to learn more about the
laws and governance of these organizations. We will be specifically
looking at laws, liability, organization, management, tax issues, board
governance and many other important issues. The workshops will be held on
Monday nights for five weeks beginning June
