KS letters
In the Maui News letters, Gaby Gouveia asks
if Judge Ezra's decision on Kamehameha Schools citing Hawaiian Kingdom custom
and law serves as precedent for application in other areas of life. And John
Middleton points
out that numerous scholarships are given out based on race, and
encourages Hawaiians with kids in KS to ask for a tax reduction based on the
fact that KS is educating students at private schools at no cost to the state,
relieving the state's burden.
