Federal judge dismisses lawsuit against OHA
The
Honolulu
Advertiser reports
that U.S. District Judge Susan Oki Mollway yesterday "dismissed a case
challenging the constitutionality of government programs for Native Hawaiians,
ruling that the court should not interfere with the ongoing congressional debate
over Hawaiians' political status."
The Star-Bulletin reports that "Hawaiians lauded a federal judge's dismissal yesterday of the last remaining claim challenging the constitutionality of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs."
