Kamehameha Schools suit is top story in Hawaii
This is the top story in Hawaii's dailies today,
with an article
and editorial
in the Star-Bulletin, the Pacific
Business News and another from the Advertiser
reporting that the non-Hawaiian student's first day of school will be greeted by
a spontaneous protest demonstration by alumni at 6:30 a.m. at the gates of the
mountaintop school and a "growing sense of rage within the Hawaiian community."
KS trustees are promising to vigorously defend the school's admission
policy.
