McClain recommends UARC
Here's UH interim President David McClain's recommendation
to the Board of Regents regarding the proposal Navy University Affiliated
Research Center (UARC).I haven't had a
chance to review it carefully, but essentially he's recommending to "approve the
establishment of the UARC as an administrative unit attached to the UH System"
rather than a part of the UH-Manoa campus, and to "provide that the UARC will
perform no classified task orders during its first three years of
