Learn to make a Hawaiian quilt

Island Life Shorts notes:Why wait to inherit one? You can learn to make your own Hawaiian quilt at the Bishop Museum's four-session workshop taught by third-generation quilter Poakalani Serrao. The three-hour sessions will cover the history of Hawaiian quilting, how to design your own quilt, cutting, laying out and basting. Students of all levels are welcome, but class size is limited to 15. Classes will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays starting tomorrow; the fee is $125.
