Barefoot Bash in Lahaina

What: Expedia, Maui Tribe, and Malama Pono Productions present the first annual BAREFOOT BASH. The musical celebration held on Kamehameha Day, will feature many of Hawaii's top entertainers.
When: Kamehameha Day, Sunday June 11, 2006
Music begins at 4pm and goes until 10pm.
Where: Lahaina Civic Center Amphitheatre
1840 Honoapiilani Highway, Lahaina HI 96761

Tickets: Tickets can be bought online at www.barefootbash.com, or at several retail ticket outlets including: five Maui Tacos locations, Borders Books and Music KAHULUI, Paia Wine Corner, Groove 2 Music PAIA, Makawao Rodeo General Store, Café 808, Bounty Music, Requests Records, Kihei Beach Road Records, Hawaiian Village Coffee Kahana/Kaanapali, and Livewire Café LAHAINA.
Cost: Tickets go on sale May 8, for $30 in advance, $35 day of show.
Artists:
• Barefoot Natives (featuring Willie K and Eric Gilliom), celebrate their new CD.
• Henry Kapono Band, with a sneak preview of his June release: "The Wild Hawaiian".
• Makaha Sons, celebrate their 30 years of Music and Entertainment.
• HAPA, will return to Lahaina where the group began 23 years ago.
• Gypsy Pacific a dynamic acoustic string quartet specializing in "gypsy jazz".
The MC is KPOA's Alaka'i Paleka, known to listeners as the "Morning Goddess".
Beneficiary: Funds and awareness will be raised for the Hui O Wa'a O Kaulua, a Lahaina based group that is building a 63 foot long double-hulled canoe, Mookiha which will join the esteemed Hokule'a Fleet.
Parking: On site parking is $5 per vehicle.
