HCR293 EXPRESSING LEGISLATIVE SUPPORT FOR AND REQUESTING THE REMOVAL OF THE TERM “TREATY OF ANNEXATION” CAST IN BRONZE ON THE STATUE OF PRESIDENT MCKINLEY ON THE GROUNDS OF MCKINLEY HIGH SCHOOL. HAW
Aloha,
I was graduated at McKinley High School 1969 not knowing that the bronze statue held a lying metal lump! Nor did I know that the reason the statue was made was to thank, as it were, the US President McKinley for pulling the fat out of the fire of those traitorous insurrectionists and sons of missionaries. Not only am I for removing the lie, and with shout so loud they here it in the US Washington DC, but ALSO to return the name of the High School to Honolulu High her original name, I take it. This before the school was forced to take on the name of an Official of high rank who assisted in theft, lies, violence, treason, against the peaceful Kingdom of Hawai’i!
