Suckling
Pueo and Pili are over a year and a half old,
fully grown, but they still love to suckle on Hiwa, even though she isn't their
mother. Maybe they were weaned early or something. Actually, I'm not sure how
usual this is, but I think every other cat we've had through the years (and
there have been several) has wanted to suckle Hiwa, so it must just be a part of
their nature. She has a big baggy belly that she loves to have scratched anyway,
and she's very maternal, even though she never had kittens herself, so she
generally at least puts up with
it.
