Pili tests flame
Pili has a funny quirk that she likes to test
things with her paw. Before she eats food, she'll scoop some and eat it from her
paw, and then decide its okay and eat from a dish. Same with water, she'll dip
her paw in the water and taste it before she drinks. On several occasions Kekula
has gotten her to taste poi like this (and she actually eats the poi) but I
haven't gotten a photo of that so far.
Last night, though, it was a candle she decided to test. She kept sticking her paw into this candle, and despite us trying to discourage her, she was determined, so I got the camera. I didn't manage to get a shot of her with her paw in the candle, but here she's checking it after having just removed it. Fortunately, she did manage to avoid burning herself.
